When you come to pelvic floor physical therapy, we talk about sexual health because we believe it is very important to human health. Unfortunately, most people get very little to no education about this and many feel shame, embarrassment, and frustration and don’t know what to do.

Our goal is to provide a safe space for all gender and sexuality and allow people to ask questions, discuss concerns, and get the help they need. There’s no such thing as TMI! That being said, we also understand that this is not a subject everyone is comfortable talking about. A multidiciplinary approach including pelvic floor physical therapy can be very helpful. Treatment options include manual therapy, pelvic floor relaxation exercises, education, behavioral strategies, self management strategies, home exercise program, pain science education, and appropriate referrals to complementary professions/services.
